Hey guys! Deb here. It’s a week of big changes here in the basement, and I’m not just talking about Melvin switching to Mountain Dew Pitch Black (which btw may or may not go amazingly well with Jager…ahem)! I’m going to be helming a new article that pays homage to the artists of DeviantArt! While we love Etsy here, we also want to give a generous nod to the artists of Deviant Art! So without further adieu, I bring you Deviantly Geeky!
I found myself getting bored this weekend with Netflix Instant and wanted something simple that I could listen to while making more 8bit characters out of beads. So I threw in my beloved Sailor Moon Musicals (“Transylvania no Mori, Kaiteiban” for anyone who knows about it! <3 Miyuki Moon!) and singing along with all my favorites. Looking at those live action Japanese girls in awesome costumes, I started thinking about how cool it is that Sailor Moon is still so popular–almost 20 years since it began and people still cosplay as Sailor Moon!

I wouldn’t call myself an ‘expert’ per say… more like obsessed enthusiast? LOL
No, Sailor Moon has definitely been on my list. I just started watching anime in the last few years, so I know that I have a lot of catching up to do when it comes to the original series that make up the ‘pillars’ of anime as it is today.
*Sigh* So many series… perhaps I can find a way to stop time so I can watch them all?
