Resident Evil Red and Green Herb Baked Chicken

5 Oct

herb chickenWith the release of Resident Evil 6, Melvin and I wanted to make something inspired by our favorite horror filled video game.  And since we couldn’t find any willing humans to volunteer to get eaten, we thought we would go with herbs instead.  We must combine the herbs!  After the week I have had, I need my health to be fully restored.  So here is a recipe using green and red herbs to make a tasty herb baked chicken.  From our kitchen here in Raccoon City to your home, wherever you are.

resident ingredientsFor this Resident Evil herb baked chicken, here’s what you will need:

Resident Evil Red and Green Herb Baked Chicken

  • 1 lb thin chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • a few stalks of Green herb, or parsley if you can’t find any
  • 1 tbsp Red herb, or cayenne pepper if you couldn’t find any of that either
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 eggs

Step 1: Combine bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, Green herb, Red herb, salt, and pepper into one bowl.

Step 2: Scramble the 2 eggs in a separate bowl.

Step 3: Dip chicken in the eggs then coat with your herb mixture.

Step 4: Place chicken in a single layer onto a baking sheet.

Step 5: Bake at 350° for about 1 hour.

Step 6: Feel your health become fully restored and get ready to kill some zombies.
