Melvin’s Pick of the Day- 12/9/12- DolphinWing

If there’s one thing that the Mane Six have in common, it’s helping others. And here at Mom’s Basement, we like to help others too. Especially through our Mom’s Basement Charity shop.

The items in the charity shop have been donated by our best geeky artists, and 100% of the proceeds go to Child’s Play Charity, a charity that raises money to provide children’s hospitals with video games, toys, movies and other entertainment for the patients.

Dolphinwing has donated this awesome My Little Pony plush pattern, so you can make your very own pony plush and help out a great cause too!

Melvin’s Pick of the Day- 11/24/12- Bonus Life Geek Jewelry

The rush of Black Friday is over, but there is still a great deal going on here! Over at our Mom’s Basement Charity shop, there is a great selection of geeky goodies for you to peruse.

All of the items in the charity shop have been donated by our very own basement dwellers, and 100% of the proceeds go to Child’s Play Charity. This charity raises money to provide children’s hospitals with video games, toys, movies and other entertainment for the patients.

Of the many geeky goodies available, there are some lovely Doctor Who pendants donated by Bonus Life Geek Jewelry. You can have awesome jewelry and help kids have awesome video games at the same time!
