Ninja Turtle Ice Cream Bar
In case you didn’t know, yesterday was National Ice Cream Day..and I celebrated VERY generously! 
I considered making a treasury that was Batman themed since the new movie is coming out this weekend (like you needed a reminder!), but the internet seems to be well stocked with Batman info, so I thought we would use Tuesday’s Treasury as a nice getaway from Batmania. And what’s a better snack to clear your mind than some ice cream? Am I right??
Another reason why I chose ice cream as a theme? ICE CREAM IS AWESOME! I know it, you know it. Even Vegans and Lactose Intolerant people know it because non dairy ice cream is always picked over at the health food store!
And like many food products, companies have found a way to geekify this wonderful treat–remember Ninja Turtle Ice Cream Bars?? I remember chasing down the ice cream man when I was a kid, just so I could get my hands on Turtle Ice Cream bars, or Tweety Bird bars and eat the bubble gum eye balls first! And I’ve later found out that Blue Bunny still makes them! I haven’t been able to find any of them here in Michigan but I did find this website based in Maryland called Circus Ice Cream inc. that offers a delivery service through their website as long as they can get to your doorstep in two days! Normally, purchasing Ice Cream over the internet would not sound appealing to me, but I would gladly make an exception for this childhood favorite– and they don’t stop at Tweety Birds–they have Iron Man, Batman, SpongeBob, and lots more!
